Good service, good haircut. Not inexpensive, but I feel it on the upper-end of reasonable pricing in CWB/HV.
It was the first time i went to Canton Barbers in Causeway Bay, mainly because of the convenience and decent reviews. The lady at the reception asked me to wait for 15 minutes and offered me a variety of drinks, but i went for a walk instead. 15 minutes later i came back and a young man was available for the hair cut. (timeliness 5/5) My haircut is a bit challenging, and i had pictures of how it looked half a year ago. Unfortunately the young man didnt know exactly how to get my haircut done, he tried very carefully but it didnt move in the right direction. When i tried to explain to him how to do it, the lady from the reception came, said she was very sorry that there was an issue and asked a young lady to take over. Also the receptionist said that, of course, i would not be charged anything for the cut. The young professional (coffe, she did a great job) looked at the picture and 30 minute later i had the perfect haircut, just the way i wanted it. Eventually i got a few little giveaways and, after convincing the lady at the reception that i was happy with the haircut, voluntarily paid for it (at first they declined to get paid, but i thought it was just fair, because the result really was 5/5) I now know where the people who gave a 1 star came from, however, i think its about communication. I think they are very client focused and want their clients to be satisfied. If you are not satisfied with the way things move, talk to them and they will find a way to make sure you are happy with the result. I will certainly come back
