The other seven record no feedback at all, which tells you nothing about the quality of the work and only that nobody has left a review the platform can count. Unrated listings sort to the bottom of almost any view, so they go unseen by default.

Across the 490 that are rated, the average is 4.7 and 429 sit in the high band. That is close to nine in ten, which makes the star rating close to useless as a filter here. The six busiest listings all show a flat 5.0. Sorting by score in a market this dense returns a wall of identical numbers.

What actually separates the top listings

Review volume is the first real differentiator, running from 460 for Ohm Secrets on Serangoon Road in Jalan Besar to 1,151 for EstheClinic on Tras Street in Tanjong Pagar. Ownership is the second. EstheClinic holds three of the six places, adding branches at Holland Piazza in Holland and on Joo Chiat Road in Marine Parade, so half the visible top is one operator running the same format in three parts of the island. The remaining two are single sites, The Upsara Spa inside the SAFRA clubhouse at Chua Chu Kang and Ombré Concepts at Serangoon Central in Bishan. A chain offers a predictable process at any branch. A single site ties the result more closely to whoever is on shift that day.
