Of the 371 places listing balayage, 273 carry a rating, those average 4.5, and 186 sit in the top band, which leaves most of the list looking alike from the outside.

Where they are

The deepest review histories are split across all three parts of the territory. On Hong Kong Island, LEEKAJA X AMONG sits on D'Aguilar Street in Central (Central and Western), and Causeway Bay holds two more in Wan Chai, Beauty Affairs Medispa and Lagoon Hair Salon. In Kowloon, Crazycolor workshop is in Mong Kok and Soul Pure Beauty is at Mira Place in Tsim Sha Tsui, both in Yau Tsim Mong. BMF The Aesthetics People is out in the New Territories, at Metro Plaza in Kwai Tsing.

What the counts and the names show

Review volume falls steadily through that group, from 605 at LEEKAJA X AMONG down through 371, 351, 281 and 274 to 168, with every one of them rated 5.0. The names repay as much attention as the numbers. A Korean salon, a medispa, a group calling itself The Aesthetics People, a colour workshop and a Japanese-style salon sit in the same six, so balayage here is offered by businesses with quite different centres of gravity. Asking to see colour work first is reasonable in that company.
