Not bad but please don't crowd the gym. But not a fan of the staff. Literally 5-6 people sitting at the entrance not doing anything. Now that they remove the qr system the staff literally has nothing to do. Sure they have to take attendance but it doesn't justify for 6 staff members. Most of the time they just hang around the entrance and play mobile legends or just talk cock. The good once do go around and see if anyone needs help. But ye good job , but please open the gym slightly longer . :)
Attended CrossFit class conducted by Coach Hidayat in 2022. We have around 10 to 15 personnel attended the class every Wednesday evening. I would say that day this session is a good to have. Rarely nowadays we have this kind of classes. Apart from that, ActiveSG Yio Chu Kang have all the equipment readily available. The class lasted about few months before it ended. After which, there are strong demand from the existing participants and even newcomer who wanted to join this class. I hope ActiveSG Yio Chu Kang could provide/proceed to have these classes very soon.
Went there for AAC season 3 finale as a volunteer. It’s a great stadium with sprawling greenery around. It also has functional lighting alarms system in place. Has provision to change clothes and washrooms very near to the stadium entrance. There is a McD right next to the stadium. Overall, it’s a good place to stay active
Quite big area with many machines and equipments, so even with crowd it’s possible to work out. The staffs there are nice, friendly and helpful! Gym users there are easy going and willing to share machines and weights. Huge range of ready barbells to use. Huge number of barbells to use too. Has separate area for machines, free weights and cardio machines. Crowd is lesser early in the morning. Toilets located outside the gym.
The squash facilities are great eventhough they have cordoned off some areas due to Covit19 for health measures. The staff are helpful and friendly as we lost or ball and they even loan us one. A great experience
