During my stay in Singapore I had the privilege of training Muay Thai and Boxing with Rebel for about 3 months. If you're looking to start combat sports, or just want to improve your overall fitness Rebel gym is a phenomenal pick that I can vouch for after training in both the US, and Australia. The classes are a great form of exercise that include warm ups, partner dills, bag work, pads, and some sparring. One thing I can appreciate is that Rebel places an emphasis on training in both orthodox and southpaw, which is something that a lot of gyms will overlook. There are also classes dedicated to strength and conditioning specifically which are great to further build your physical foundation. I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to train with Rebel and their upbeat, encouraging, and helpful community. Special thanks to the coaches Mel and Dan, and the more seasoned members that help me out whenever I’m tripping over myself. If you want to start Muay Thai or boxing while improving your overall fitness, I strongly encourage you to give Rebel gym a go.
I trained Muay Thai and boxing at Rebel Gym for 3 months during my stay in Singapore, and it has been an incredible experience! I have trained in the US, Thailand and France, and Rebel is so far the very best of all. Whether you’re looking to learn Muay Thai, boxing, or just improve your overall fitness through strength and conditioning, this gym offers top-notch training and coaching. Special shoutout to Dan, who pays close attention to techniques, form, and movement mechanics. The sessions are structured in a way that helps you progress steadily and fast while keeping the training both challenging and fun. A typical class combines warmups, technical drills, pad work, partner exercises, and strength and conditioning elements, ensuring a well-rounded workout. I’ve personally seen huge improvements in my technique, endurance, and overall strength since training here. It’s not just about fitness—it’s about learning and growing in a supportive environment. Beyond the training, the community at Rebel is amazing—everyone is friendly, supportive, and welcoming. Whether you’re here to compete, get stronger, or just try a new form of exercise, this is the perfect place to do it. Highly recommend Rebel Gym to anyone looking for a high-quality Muay Thai and boxing experience in Singapore! I am always looking forward to coming back every time I get a chance to visit the country:)
I've been really enjoying my time at Rebel Gym! I've been focusing on their boxing classes, and the coaches are fantastic. They're tough but encouraging, and I'm already feeling stronger and more confident. I love the high-energy atmosphere, and it's motivating to train alongside such a dedicated group. I've even stepped into the ring for a fight recently (a little scary at first, but so rewarding!). Besides boxing, Rebel also offers Muay Thai, and strength and conditioning. If you're looking to get in shape and learn a new skill, I highly recommend checking them out!
Have been training with Rebel Gym for five months with a focus on Muay Thai and strength and conditioning for self defence and fitness. Really enjoying it with the variety of classes and schedules, and at a decent price. It’s a good authentic gym with committed trainers who are well prepared and focus on strong technique. Highly recommended.
I've been training at Rebel Gym consistently for roughly 10 months, and it has been such a great experience so far. As a complete beginner with no prior knowledge of Muay Thai, I was brought aside by Mel, the head coach, who patiently taught me the basic fundamentals and proper form 1 on 1 before letting me join the rest of the class. A teaching style I've enjoyed is Rebel Gym's method of training where we practice each drill in both orthodox and southpaw stance - as a leftie, it's great to learn and fit in with everyone else haha. The class structure usually consists of partner combo drills, pad work (both combo and freestyle), followed by strength and conditioning exercises. Personally I find this a perfect balance as I get to learn real combos that we can apply in sparring and also work on my fitness and core strength! I'm really appreciative that the Rebel community hosts a positive, supportive and uplifting environment, especially to complete beginners like myself. Not only do the coaches (special thanks to Mel and Daniel) take their time to demonstrate proper form and technique, the more experienced and senior members are always happy to help! Im proud of my progress so far and hope to see more improvements with my time at Rebel. For those who are thinking of learning Muay Thai & Boxing and hitting your fitness goals, would highly recommend giving it a shot here!
