Joey and I come a long way. I was referred to Joey about 11 years ago for a waxing session. It was my first wax experience in Hong Kong and I really did not know what to expect. Fast forward 11 years later and counting we have become friends through the years and I still see Joey on a very regular basis for all my body waxing needs. She is professional, efficient, effective, safe, painless and she will in details tell you what to do and what not to do for better looking skin. Business had not been kind to her during covid, but Joey stayed strong, kept striving and kept her professionalism in tact which is so admirable and just one of so many things I love about her. The smile she gives to her customers when she greet us is genuine and her laugh is addictive. She just might be the best beauty therapist I’ve ever met and I guarantee you she won’t disappoint. 😉

Their environment is clean and relaxed and I was greeted by my beauty therapist, Vicki. I enjoyed a "Platinum" facial using all organic skincare products which is all they use here at Nu. The needle cleaning didn't hurt as she was careful and talking to me the whole time. The part I enjoyed the most was the serum face massage! As Vicki slowly massaged the warm silky serum onto my face, I can feel my skin replenished with nutrients again. I was slowly dosing off during this especially when she put the mask on. Afterwards, I really loved how my face felt so supple, fresh and rejuvenated! I did hope that I had something to change into so I didn't have to wear my own clothes, and she was promoting products and other services to me. But still enjoyed the treatment.

I have been going to nu waxing for more than 12 years and Joey ( owner and head therapist) makes the process most painless as she is super efficient and professional. She is definitely an expert in this area and it has always been a great experience. Her new place in wong chuk hang is clean and cosy. One person at the time only- you have utmost privacy. Massages are also really on-point. Would definitely highly recommend this place.

Joey is extremely professional and fast, always takes the extra time to pluck out extra hairs - she is super friendly and I would highly recommend her to anyone!
