The upgraded hall features improved ventilation and retractable seating for up to 250 spectators, plus 12 indoor courts — including four dedicated pickleball courts and eight multi‑purpose courts for badminton, basketball and volleyball. The hall supports badminton, table tennis, volleyball, netball, full-court basketball and a 3x3 basketball option, with bookable courts for casual sessions, team training and community competitions. Operated by Sport Singapore, Hougang Sport Hall sits within a mature estate and is part of Hougang Sport Centre (formerly Hougang Sport and Recreation Centre).
