My mother suffered a sudden stroke in 2019. There was never any pressure on us to finish any discussion, and he always ended with an open offer for us to speak with him again if we wanted to. The knowledge that such an experienced professional, who also happens to be such a kind and easygoing person, was always available for discussions with us gave me a lot of peace of mind during a difficult period. Elliot’s kindness and helpful nature carried over to even after my mother had moved back home. He took the initiative to contact me to ask how my mother was doing at home.
