Bare Essentials Waxing

If you have lived in Hong Kong long enough, you’d know that a lot of shops in the city come and go just like the people you meet here. But there are always the ones that stick around and grow with you. Bare essentials is one of those places for me. I have been a loyal customer for nearly 10 years (mainly for threading and waxing). I have discovered this place the second year I came to Hong Kong and have not looked else where since. Conveniently located in Central, this place is clean and neat. Rashmi has been one of the best professionals I came across (even after trying several hotel spas in few cities and multiple dermatologists in Seoul). The amount of attention and care she puts in for each treatment is truly heart felt. Her kindness and ownership to the business is not only inspirational but also very moving. There is a reason this place survived the past 3 years of covid, lockdown and more. I recently came back to this place for oxygeneo facial with Sunita and she was magnificent. It was one of the best facial treatments I have had. She is also a true professional who understands what you want and exactly need without you having to explain it. I highly recommend this place for facial, threading and all kinds of waxing.

I have been visiting Rashmi for many years now. She is exceptionally skilled with incredible attention to detail. The warm and welcoming space, paired with Rashmi’s kind and caring nature, makes for a great experience. The highly flexible packages also ensures all services very well priced. I did facial from Sunita d. It was an amazing ground breaking experience. She’s so gentle and the facial itself was very soothing and calming. Definitely a place to come by and de stress yourself. Highly recommend for massages and facial plus waxing .

I go to Sarmila for eyebrow shaping, and she is absolutely the best. She has great attention to detail and shape so I always come out with prefect arches and very clean and evenly shaped eyebrows. I highly recommend her.

Great service, fast en painless wax. Only thing is that it’s a bit hard to find. You need to look for a place called “Sharetea” it’s the entrance next to it on the right when you are in front of it, go the 11th floor and you’re there!
