The therapists are engaging and able to tune the lessons to my child's needs. They executed their plans with clear goals and I have seen improvement in my child's expressive language skills. My child takes well to Ivy and Darren, who also give tips on what we can do at home to help him further.

We were looking for a good speech therapist for our 3 year old son. His previous therapist was able to help him pronounce many words but his articulation was not clear. This resulted in a lot of frustration and melt downs for him. We are thankful to have found Prudence as she is exactly what we were looking for. Her approach is clear and methodical, and she has a clear plan on how she wants to progress him. As a result, his speech has become so much better and his articulation is accurate. While it’s still early days, we are very heartened by the progress and are confident he will succeed in his speech and pronunciation. On top of this, Prudence has been a guiding hand on other cognitive skills as well as behavioral skills that she has observed in our son. It has made a huge difference in the way we approach parenting and guiding him. For this we are truly grateful for her, as she goes above and beyond the role of just speech therapy and looks at him as a valued human being and assess him holistically to bring out his potential. My 4-year-old son has a lisp, and we did a consultation at Total Communication. His speech therapist, Charlotte, was knowledgeable, professional and extremely friendly. My son warmed up to her immediately! As a result, going to speech class quickly became his favorite weekly activity. I enrolled my son in Total Communication in 2017 after concern with his stagnant speech progress in his previous school. I felt that he took a long time to settle down and by the time he did, the allocated time was over. I decided that he should be moved to focus on his weakest trait. Fast forward to now, his transformation is nothing short of amazing. His improvement went beyond his speech. Along came his improved social skills, cognitive skills, even a true sense of humour and confidence and self determination to improve. I’ve seen him Googling words with audio pronunciations. Improved maths too. As my son has been with quite a few teachers here, all of these point to the high quality and consistency of the teaching staff at Total Communication and the attention to details in their methods. With the recent home based learning, I’ve notice not just professionalism but people with big hearts too.

Our daughter needed a "boost" when it came to her language and communications skills and Total Communication made the entire process feel very natural and seamless from start to finish. The initial pre-application process was timely but worth it as it meant we were paired with the best qualified therapist for our needs. We really felt like we got a bespoke service, as well as an extremely friendly and comforting approach with the tools needed for us to continue the work at home.
