At THK Family Service Centre @ Bukit Panjang, families and individuals find a steady, compassionate hand through life’s ups and downs. As the community hub for Bukit Panjang Cares (part of the SG Cares movement), we bring neighbours and partners together to strengthen mutual support and mobilise volunteers—because it truly takes a village. We are part of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities’ network of five Family Service Centres across Singapore (Jurong West, Bukit Panjang, Tanjong Pagar, MacPherson and Bedok North). We focus on emotional and social well-being at every life stage. Our multidisciplinary team—social workers, counsellors, psychologists and specialised programme experts—walks alongside you with support, guidance and a confidential space you can trust. Our core services include casework and counselling tailored to your situation, whether navigating family dynamics, psychological concerns or behavioural issues. We strictly uphold client confidentiality. We also support the Family Justice Court and the Ministry of Family and Social Development by providing counselling to families facing violence, abuse or neglect. If you’re unsure where to start, our Information & Referral service offers parenting materials and connects you to community resources or external organisations best suited to your needs. Community is at the heart of what we do. Guided by the “it takes a village” approach, we partner with residents, grassroots groups, local businesses, social services, healthcare providers and religious organisations to strengthen support networks. We also run groupwork programmes at different times, including support for men addressing issues of violence, people with substance-use concerns, children who have witnessed family violence, women navigating self-esteem challenges, youths with mental health considerations and parents seeking practical parenting support.
