The Nailist - Raffles Holland V

I usually visit the Holland Road Shopping Mall outlet, but I decided to try this location for a change. The manicurists here did a fantastic job, as always—polite, meticulous, and truly skilled at their work! One thing to note is that it can feel quite packed and cramped, especially when multiple manicurists surround a customer doing both a manicure and pedicure at the same time. Overall, still a good experience, and I appreciate the consistent quality of service!

Beautiful classic gel mani nails done by Jovin. Even though pricing was on higher side, it was also because I opted for an ombré design. Experience here was comfortable, and I was able to relax and switch off completely as my nails got done.

UPDATE at the end really disappointed. This is my third time coming to this salon. The first time my gel manicures held up extremely well for 4 weeks without a shine. On the occasion of its removal, I did a classic manicure, the varnish was too pasty and never dried properly, I had blisters and chips almost after installation. I said to myself no luck I will try the gel another time I had my gel applied for a wedding the gel barely lasted 1 week, it is flaking and peeling off. I'm very disappointed ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️I'd like to come back to my previous comment. I hadn't realized that there were two nailist boutiques in Holland Village in two malls facing each other. My previous comment was addressed to the store facing the metro exit with the dbs sign. When I realized my mistake, I went to see them and showed them the state of my nails after two weeks (almost all of my gel varnish had disappeared from certain fingers). The staff told me that this was normal and that they wouldn't do anything about it, that the best they could do was to take me back in 10 minutes and pay for the entire service. So I left to try out the other nailist boutique across the street The work was more than professional, with very good advice on the right color for my skin. High-quality work that hasn't changed after 10 days. I'm a real fan of the result and will only go back to this store. The boutique manager was more than kind to me, I'm delighted.

I’ve been going to The Nailist in the Holland Road Shopping Centre for a couple of years. I picked them after doing a recee of every nail parlour in the area - they are the best! Professional, extremely clean, happy staff. I highly recommend Tracy, Connie, Nicole, Nana and Apple, in that order. The manager on Level 2, Meen is really lovely and goes out of her way for customer service. The manager on Level 3, Jen, is extremely competent and professional. I have deducted one star because they really should have drinking water on hand, as some of the treatments take a long time. This last time, I asked for water, and had to wait 20 minutes for a cup! Other than this, no complaints.
