First time here, the place recommended me masseuse Grace. Pleasantly surprising experience, she was really proficient with the massage. Really professional as well. Overall great experience 🙏🏼
I thought I was a seasoned massage enthusiast, thanks to my background as an athlete during my younger years. Back then, rigorous training routines meant I was no stranger to various massage techniques, whether for recovery, treatment, or simply to unwind. Over the years, I’ve tried countless styles and therapists, thinking I’d experienced it all. Yet, my visit to The Leaf Spa & Wellness today completely redefined my expectations. This was my first massage after a long hiatus, following a major surgery to repair a meniscus tear and realign my shinbone—a procedure involving the cutting of the bone and insertion of a metal wedge secured with plates and screws. It’s been a challenging recovery process, so when my doctor finally gave me the green light to resume massages, I decided to start cautiously with a lymphatic massage. Given my previous encounters with lymphatic massages, I expected a gentle, superficial experience—a light touch to encourage lymphatic drainage and improve fluid circulation post-surgery. But what I experienced with Julia, my therapist, was far beyond anything I had imagined. It wasn’t just a massage; it was an expertly curated fusion of lymphatic drainage techniques and TCM acupressure, seamlessly combined into a healing ritual that left me in awe. Julia’s precision and skill were remarkable. She targeted areas that the typical massages often overlook, such as the pressure points near the pubic bone and the inner upper thighs—regions that I never realized carried so much tension. Her technique reminded me of the TCM principles of meridian therapy, where key acupoints are stimulated to release blockages and restore the body’s natural qi flow. The soreness I felt in those areas was a revelation, proof of her ability to intuitively locate and address hidden tension. Even more impressive was Julia’s attentiveness to my post-surgical needs. She was meticulous in avoiding any strain on my surgical site while still ensuring the rest of my body benefited from her therapeutic touch. Her approach blended caution with expertise, a testament to her mastery in dealing with clients recovering from complex procedures like mine. The experience was elevated even further with thoughtful post-massage touches. The herbal tea and light dessert served afterward were the perfect conclusion to a holistic healing session, grounding me in comfort and nourishment. For anyone who takes their massages seriously, whether for relaxation, therapeutic relief, or a blend of both, I cannot recommend The Leaf Spa & Wellness enough. Julia’s hands are nothing short of magical, and her ability to blend TCM techniques with modern therapeutic approaches makes her a true gem. I’m heading home today not just rejuvenated but smiling from ear to ear. Thank you, The Leaf Spa & Wellness, for making my day unforgettable! 😆🙌🏻
I’m giving a 5 stars for the service and attitude of the hardworking staff but I have to be very honest about the standard of the massages.. it is borderline bad. We tried two of the masseurs, they were clearly inexperienced. I guess these 5 stars are review are for their fantastic attitude and service but to continue to operate sustainably, the skills have to be improved. I will never return because of how bad the massages were. Just want to let u know so that you can improve. Thank you.
First visit here after reading all the positive review and I was so impressed by Wing massage technique. She knows the exact spots to relief my fatigue and goes the extra mile to ease the tension at my back. Had a wonderful 2 hour lymphatic massage and wish for a longer duration. Will definitely recommend to mummies esp those who are breastfeeding their babies to have a pampering time. Can’t wait to be back to try their oil massage too.
Went for a 1hr head massage. Most massage places do not offer this and I was skeptical at first, turns out to be an amazing experience. Wing was a great masseur, she knows how to apply the pressure at the right spot, with the right strength. She will also communicate with you throughout the massage without disrupting the peace At the end of the massage, you will be served with homemade flower tea with their own healthy dessert. I had oatmeal dragonfruit with 2 cookies Overall, I highly recommend Leaf Spa
