The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation is a non-profit charity established in 1959, specialising in rehabilitation and the holistic well-being of people with disabilities or health conditions. What makes us distinctive is our end-to-end support that removes barriers to care: from therapy and community rehabilitation to our accessible transport and travel services such as Rehabus and Easy-Access Travel, helping people reach therapy, daily activities and the wider community with dignity and ease.
Across a citywide network of service units in Hong Kong and in Shenzhen, we provide person-centred rehabilitation that promotes independence and social participation. Our centres deliver multidisciplinary therapies and community-based programmes, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy, alongside day rehabilitation and elderly care, vocational rehabilitation and retraining, and primary healthcare support through District Health Centre and District Health Centre Express initiatives.
Care is coordinated by experienced professionals who tailor goals and interventions to each individual, fostering resilience and empowering people to reach their potential at home, at work and in the community. Beyond direct services, we advance inclusive practice through social enterprise initiatives and engagement in research and advocacy, working with partners to create an enabling, barrier-free society.
