Tai Wo Hau Sports Centre

Tai Wo Hau Sports Centre is a public indoor sports hub operated by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, serving the Tai Wo Hau and Kwai Chung community since 1992. It supports active lifestyles across ages and abilities with venue hire for individuals and groups and a changing programme of monthly recreation and sports activities. Facilities include a multi‑purpose arena configurable as one basketball or volleyball court, or four badminton courts, with spectator seating. There are three squash courts (two convertible for table tennis and one used as a squash/table tennis/multi‑purpose activity room), a 143 m² mirrored activity room with dance bars and sound equipment, and a 104 m² fitness room. The centre is equipped with a public address system, a first aid room, men’s and ladies’ changing rooms and 72 lockers. The centre is barrier‑free, with accessible toilets and changing room, an accessible lift with assistive listening system, tactile guide path, visual fire alarm, and Braille directory/floor plan. Getting here is easy: it’s about a five‑minute walk from MTR Tai Wo Hau Station Exit B, with multiple bus and green minibus routes nearby.
