North Kwai Chung Tang Shiu Kin Sports Centre is a community multi‑sport venue run by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, serving North Kwai Chung since 1985. It stands out for a versatile main arena and strong barrier‑free design, making quality sport and fitness accessible to everyone. The multi‑purpose arena converts for basketball, volleyball, four badminton courts or an indoor tennis court, with 448 fixed spectator seats plus four wheelchair spaces. Facilities also include three squash courts that can be set up with table‑tennis tables, a multi‑purpose activity room with mirrors, dance bars, sound equipment and mats, a fitness room, public address and first‑aid rooms, and 128 lockers. A baby care room adds family‑friendly convenience. The centre hires venues to individuals and groups and organises monthly recreation and sports activities, offering a welcoming, motivating environment for all fitness levels—whether you’re working out in the fitness room, joining a class or booking a court. Barrier‑free features include accessible toilets and changing rooms, an accessible lift with assistive listening system, a tactile guide path, Braille/tactile directory and a visual fire alarm system.
