MINDS - Clementi Training & Development Centre

MINDS Community Hub (Clementi) — formerly MINDS – Clementi Training & Development Centre — is part of MINDS, a social service agency dedicated to empowering persons with intellectual disability (ID), their caregivers and families across life stages in Singapore. For over 60 years, MINDS has advanced the development, well-being and aspirations of individuals with ID, working alongside the community to shape a society where everyone belongs. At our Clementi Community Hub, adults with ID can access day activity and adult learning programmes that build daily living skills, independence and community participation in a welcoming, community-based setting. The Hub provides diagnostics and assessment, information and referral, and case management to connect individuals and families with the right supports at the right time. Employment programmes and vocational training are delivered primarily through MINDS Regional Hubs, with selected opportunities accessible via Community Hubs. As part of MINDS’ comprehensive network with more than 20 touchpoints, the Clementi Hub links clients and caregivers to Specialised Services for therapy, medical services and case management, as well as caregiver support that offers respite, resources and peer networks. Families are guided with assessments, diagnostics and referrals, and MINDS’ advocacy efforts continue to champion the voices of persons with ID in society. With over 10,000 clients and caregivers served, MINDS strives to enhance quality of life and foster inclusion.
