MindChamps Allied Care @ Toa Payoh

I am so grateful for the incredible care and dedication of the teachers at MCAC TP. Teacher Charlotte, Teacher Simone, Teacher Vic and Teacher Abby are all incredibly warm and friendly. They make each session a fun and positive experience for my child and he looks forward to it each time. I like how they have tailored the lessons to my child’s learning and social needs, and the very detailed updates on his progress that are provided each week. I’m so thankful for their support.

It is not an exaggeration when we said Mindchamps allied care @ Toa Payoh is god-sent! It brought us light and hope when we were in despair! Until today I still remember the very first phone call I had with the centre manager Simone. It was so assuring and comforting. This was much needed especially after so many negative news from the preschool my son is at. Mindchamps allied care @ Toa Payoh has a GREAT team made up of highly trained teachers, occupation therapist and even a child psychologist. I would call them the ‘A Team’. With them, under their care and guidance, my son really thrived. In fact, he learnt so much more when he is with allied care than with his preschool. Teacher Vic, Teacher Charlotte and Teacher Abby went above and beyond when it comes to guiding my son. I have never seen such dedication in teachers before. Their patience in handling this group of kids is commendable. It is not an easy job but they took it at their own strides and placed the children as their priorities. The detailed updates from them brought nothing but delightfulness. They showed the positive side of our son and shared a lot of strategies which we can use at home and in the preschool. They are so helpful and dedicated in their jobs. I have to say they treat my son like their own. We shared good news, bad news, laughters and stress together. They never let parents walk this path alone. They are always there for us. Teacher Adeline, the occupational therapist, understands our son well and always has new ideas to help our son. Our son enjoys her sessions a lot. She makes the sessions very fun and th child really benefits a lot under her guidance. Simone is like a friend to me now! Our exchanges were never transactional. There was a lot of empathy in them. Gradually, a friendship was formed. She provided lots of advice to me. I am truly appreciative of her. If not for her, my son would not have attended allied care and has such big improvement. Last but not least, the child psychologist, Wan Xin, who shared a lot of knowledge with us. She sees things we couldn’t and advice us what we could so to help our son. One thing that I truly amazed about her was that she even reminded us not to neglect our daughter’s needs because she is a child herself too. This brought me to tears! Everyone in allied care Toa Payoh teach with their hearts. Treat the child like their own. Support the parents in all ways they can. The teachers are very caring and always make sure their teaching method is suitable for each child! They do a lot of learning through play and sensory play in each session. My girl really enjoys and looks forward to her classes here.

Allied care TPY teachers are very caring and patient. Thank you teacher Victoria and Simon update and share my son's progress timely, my son enjoy going to the centre very week. I appreciate it very much. Thank you all the teachers. :)
