I cannot recommend MindChamps Allied Care @ East Coast enough! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the attentive and friendly admin staff. The center is impeccably maintained, with a high standard of hygiene and safety, featuring therapy rooms that are thoughtfully designed with wall and floor bumpers for utmost safety. A special thank you to Kevin, the center owner, who is incredibly down-to-earth, gentle, and warm. He is not pushy at all and takes the time to listen to every concern. Kevin’s ability to patiently listen and provide insightful summaries and advice is truly commendable. My child has been attending OT sessions with Sara, the most experienced Occupational Therapist at the center. Sara has worked wonders in improving my child’s fine and gross motor skills. Her genuine love and care shine through in every session. She consistently explains the purpose behind each therapy exercise and offers encouragement that keeps my child motivated and excited for each session. It’s no surprise that when I ask my child about her favorite teacher, the answer is always “Teacher Sara.” Sending your child to MindChamps Allied Care @ East Coast means entrusting them to honest, humble, and highly professional therapists. I have complete peace of mind knowing my child is in such good hands. Thank you, Kevin and Sara, for your dedication and exceptional care!
It’s our second time enrolling our child in Mindchamps Allied Care @ East Coast for ST and OT… they’re very accommodating and helped us find the perfect schedule and therapists for my child. OT Sara has been effective as ever. My child’s regulation, attention, and focus improved well and she even managed to perform in her kindergarten graduation concert because of OT Sara’s tips on how to help my child stay in formation. Our new ST, Senior ST Elaine has been very effective as well. My child developed more confidence in using words independently. Her receptive language has improved big time, as well. She gets to listen and follow more instantly now… Would also like to appreciate Ms. Val’s warmth and friendliness towards us. Making us, especially our child comfortable coming to the centre every time.
Our son was with Speech Therapist Elaine last year (4+ yo, working on /s/ and /l/ amongst other issues). She blends expertise and competence with just the right interactional style with him. She approaches my son as though they are peers, making him immediately comfortable. We speak openly about his speech challenges, and she displayed a high level of emphathy and understanding. We saw improvement in his speech. We would also like to thank the rest of the team, including Kevin, Cindy & the rest of the reception team, for being so welcoming and making us feel at home whenever we were there.
We took admission for my son at the age of 2.5 year for speech delay. Continued for a year and could see measurable results. By age 3.5, he is able to communicate in 3 to 5 word sentences. We did EIP along with 1:1 OT and ST sessions.. thanks you Mr Kevin, teacher Agatha (EIP) , teacher Pris (OT) and teacher Jun (ST).. thank you for helping us in these stressful times.. very glad to see our son speaking. Thank you very much!
My son started attending speech therapy with Gemma when he turned 3 years old. His progress was tremendous. He went from being almost non-verbal to very articulate now. Gemma gave good feedback and tips on how to communicate with him at home. Grateful for Gemma.
