If you’re looking for a caring, clean & knowledgeable piercing studio, this is it. I came in with a gun piercing done elsewhere that was badly irritated & was starting to embed. Nat quickly identified the issue and helped me replace the earring. She made the whole process so comfortable & was very professional. Dylan was awesome too, he was very friendly and helpful throughout! They’ve also got a great selection of jewelry & while I didn’t do my piercing here, I wish I did and will definitely be back in the future.

I was having a rough day at work before my piercing, but Rinku and the team completely turned it around with their kindness and professionalism. The atmosphere here is so positive and supportive. I was initially intimidated by the idea of a daith piercing, but Rinku made the experience incredibly calm and reassuring. I also really appreciated what she said about the ear I was insecure about—“There are no ugly ears; everyone is unique and different.” That truly meant a lot to me! 💜💜

Have gotten all my piercings done here, including my flat piercing and two no stroke piercings. I have to say that even though the waiting time is very long and there is an issue with the booking system. Rinku, Natasha and Dylan are always happy to fit me in, despite their long appointment, waiting times and always helping me to choose jewelry, and not rushed through the entire process! One of the rare and piercing stores in Singapore that actually sells quality jewellery instead of traditional barbell studs at traditional tattoo studios. Mantra pieces are not cheap, but well worth the price! 💜💜

I've done two cartilage piercings with Rinku - one was Industrial, one was Daith. The two piercings were actually about 2 weeks apart, but they are healing really well. My previous piercings were all done at tattoo studios, or random shopping malls, and many of them have gotten infected either because of the methods piercing or the jewelry themselves. The whole process of piercing is super professional and comfortable - each piercing is done like a mini surgery and proper care is taken to clean the area before and after piercing. If you're looking for a really curated look and you have sensitive skin, Mantra is the best place to get pierced - they specialise in it and there's a wide range of jewelry that's beautiful and good quality enough to stay in your ear without changing. They have titanium options if you're on a bit more of a budget, but if you want both style and practicality, their 14k gold options are wonderful. Those who are active - you can leave their pieces in when you exercise or go into the sea even. I'm in love. Dylan who's usually at the front is really knowledgeable and personable too, and was very patient even though I was looking at so much jewelry at one time 😂 The space is cosy and they run based on appointments to give as much attention as they can to each person, and because they're so popular you can't always walk in last minute, so just hop on their website to secure your appointment so that you won't be disappointed! I've already introduced a bunch of friends to Mantra and they've all had great experiences. Will definitely be back! 💛

Formerly known as Primitive Body Arts at Queensway Shopping Centre. They've reopened at North Bridge Road in May 2021! The new place is much bigger than the old one. Nice and homely, but also spacious and clean! They have one piercer, Rinku, and three tattoo artists. Rinku is an amazing piercer and she's currently the only one in Singapore who is certified by the Association of Professional Piercers! With over 20 years of experience and certifications in the area, who else is there to go to? Yes, she's on the pricier side, but rest assured that you are getting your money's worth as she uses high quality needles and high quality piercing safe jewellery that also come in 14k and 18k gold.
