Lakeside Family Services (Jurong West)

Lakeside Family Services is an Institution of a Public Character and charity that has served the community since 1993, regardless of race, language, or religion. Guided by a mission to change lives and transform communities, Lakeside helps individuals and families find hope and healing as they navigate life’s challenges. At our Jurong West Family Service Centre, social workers and counsellors provide casework and counselling for individuals and families, connect clients to community resources and partner agencies, and support needs such as financial assessment and assistance, marital and parenting concerns, family disputes, and interpersonal difficulties. The centre also administers the Mandatory Counselling Programme for individuals with Personal Protection Orders. Its services strengthen marriages and families (including low-income and vulnerable households), develop resilience in disadvantaged children, and mould troubled youths into contributing individuals. Lakeside also empowers active seniors to reach out to lonely seniors, assists ex-offenders in reintegrating into society, and supports women with unsupported pregnancies. Every programme is designed to meet people where they are and walk alongside them toward stability and growth.
