I am incredibly grateful for the support and guidance I received from my psychotherapist Jumh. When I first started my job, I felt overwhelmed with stress and had completely lost my confidence. I was unable to speak up or express myself, and it was affecting both my work and well-being. Through counseling, my psychotherapist jumh has helped me understand the root of my struggles and taught me effective coping strategies. Today, I am a confirmed staff member, and my confidence has grown immensely. Thanks to the techniques I learned in therapy, I am now able to manage stress and communicate with clarity. I truly appreciate the positive impact this journey has had on my personal and professional life.

Professional services and helpful therapist. Provided me with insights and guided me slowly on bringing my life back to track. Besides that, therapist also serves as a mentor in showing me the my career direction. I'm very grateful for the service and everything.
Seeing myself as a matter-of-fact person, I thought it won’t be a problem at all to change when something is obviously not working. It’s only reasonable to do so, is what I tell myself. But as it turned out, it wasn’t easy at all when one’s long-held beliefs are challenged. I was actually unyielding and stubborn, believing that “obviously” it was others who needed to change and not me. So, it had been a very humbling experience for me when I began to consider that I might not have been in the right. That having the best of intentions does not necessarily translate to doing what’s best or even what’s kind for others. Needless to say, Jumh has been there as I wrestled through my beliefs and emotions. With his seemingly boundless capacity to listen and empathise and the willingness to also allow himself to be vulnerable, I found myself opening up and being honest, despite my initial reluctance. When I dug in my heels to my beliefs, Jumh dug deeper to understand my motivations. I had never felt judged, rather, I felt the genuineness of his wanting to relate to my situation. Jumh also respected my beliefs and yet thoughtfully offered a different point of view. His kindness made me realise that though my intentions were good, unbeknownst to me, the rigidness of how I had gone about it could have hurt others. It was a painful realisation but one I am thankful to have had. Jumh, thank you for helping me work through my issues. Thank you for acknowledging my efforts. Thank you for understanding when I fail. Thank you for believing I can be a better person for my family.
Attending counselling with Jumh has been a pleasant experience. As someone attending counselling for the first time, this has been a surprisingly wonderful experience since counselling is still considered taboo in Singapore's society. Jumh was easy to talk to and made opening up a lot easier. He was able to empathise well with what I was going through while still providing a professional perspective about the other party. (for context, this was about a falling out with a close friend) He provided some insights on why certain things may happen which allowed me to process the situation and find closure, which I am very thankful for. Overall, a wonderful experience with Jumh and I would recommend him to those who are seeking counselling as first-timers.
