Was searching for a barbershop on Google maps and I came across this highly rated one which was quite near where I stayed, so I decided to make an appointment and give it a try! Locating the shop was relatively easy, just take the lift to level 3 and it's directly on the right side. Since it's a home-based barbershop 💈, it gives off a warm and homely vibe as it feels as though you're just visiting your friend's house. The barbershop section of the house is just an air-conditioned quaint little balcony section that's transformed into a 1-person barbershop, almost like you're getting a haircut from your own personal barber! 💈 I requested for her to give me a 0.5 mid fade along with trimming and thinning of the top parts. I would say that the overall haircut was very well executed and she was very detailed and meticulous in her technical skills. She also took her time to cut and wasn't in any rush, which is good. She also gave pretty good recommendations and suggestions towards the haircut and hair shape, and even justifying why she did certain things, which made sense to me. I would recommend anyone who's living around the area to drop by and give her haircuts a try! She's definitely a highly skilled barber 💈

Had my haircut here for the first time, and I’m thoroughly impressed. She was meticulous, paid great attention to detail, and made sure everything was done to perfection. On top of that, she was pleasant and professional, making the entire experience enjoyable. Definitely one of the best haircuts I’ve had in a while. Highly recommended!

Booking of appointment is very easy and straight forward, love the cozy setting environment. Barber takes time and cut my hair without rushing. Provides very good suggestions on my hair can be trim and grow based on head shape. Most importantly my wife approved! She mentioned this is 1 of the nicest haircut I had in this year! I will definitely be back again! Highly recommend!

Looks like we all found a gem! My usual barber left Singapore for good, hence I have to find one that can do a good job like my old barber did. And boy, true to the reviews here, effcutz did a fantastic job! Skillful, friendly and cosy is the key point of effcutz. The barber would give her recommendations and my advice? Go with it!
